Waiver & Safety Agreement
Group bookings: If you are reserving on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring that every member of your group has agreed to this waiver and understands how to use the sauna safely.
Health conditions: Do not use the sauna if you:
have high or low blood pressure, heart or circulation problems, epilepsy, or diabetes; are pregnant; or are prone to fainting, dizziness, or similar conditions.
Right of refusal: Tan Coed Sauna® staff may deny entry to anyone they believe could pose a health or safety risk. Refunds will not be issued in these cases.
Cold water use: Swimming in the sea or lake is entirely at your own risk. You must be confident in your swimming ability and aware of the risks of cold-water exposure and changing conditions. No lifeguard is on duty.
Sauna stove: The sauna will typically be heated to 60–80℃. Only staff may operate the stove. Guests must not touch, add fuel, open or close the stove door, or adjust vents. Ask the sauna operator if any changes are needed.
Prohibited behaviour: The use of alcohol, drugs, or nudity in the sauna is strictly forbidden. Anyone who is intoxicated or behaving in a disruptive manner may have their session ended without a refund.
Age restrictions: Shared sessions are open to guests aged 16 and above.
Jewellery: Remove all hanging jewellery before entering the sauna to avoid burns.
Sauna etiquette: For your safety and comfort, please:
Wash your feet in the bucket provided before entering.
Always sit on a towel for hygiene and to absorb sweat.
Limit sessions inside the sauna to a maximum of 20 minutes (5–15 minutes is recommended depending on experience).
Use the ladle to gently pour water on the rocks, from back to front, to avoid burns from steam. Do not throw or tip water.
Only use the designated sauna water provided.
Ensure you change within your allocated session time if you wish to use the changing area.

How to Use the Sauna — Step by Step

Change & Shower — Leave clothes in the changing area and rinse before entering.

Enter the Sauna — Start on the lower bench if the heat feels intense. Focus on relaxation and breathing.

Cool Down — After your session, step outside, enjoy fresh air, or take a cool shower.

Repeat if Desired — Alternate between heat and cooling, but don’t overdo it.

Hydrate Gradually — Sip water slowly to rehydrate.
